= a deck that runs 6 copies of Shura and has the ability to spam Synchros out the ass? yes please
(Guibas and Firedog)

Not to mention Dino could be a dece draw engine to help with the lack of one in Flamvells. This deck idea seems similar to the way GBs play, except much faster. Get effects off through battle, protect monsters with Shrink/BoM/trapnegation. The key difference is the Synchro ability. Rekindling is broken right now, whereas Gyzarus is not so much. Veiler...

I lie

As time goes by, abandoned ideas become abandoned.

new banlist gives me the belief that this summer will be fun

Sure, Book of Moon is limited, and I won't be able to use it as often, but then again neither will my opponent. That just means I have two less copies to play against, and only two Warnings to play around. Veiler is still around, though. I'm currently messing around with a GB build that neglects Test Tiger. Although that card has its merits and although Book, the easiest counter, is only at one now, it still remains to be a card that always seems to eat up my hand. When the Exceed mechanic comes here (hopefully during the summer, when I'll be playing most often), GB will be able to compete, with Darius or Gyzarus into Murmillo/Retiari. The new priority ruling kind of helps out GB as well, as the only card really affected is Test Tiger.

I've been using Shrink as of late. Post-banlist the card will be pretty decent, as Honest and Kalut will both be at 1. Shrink saves monsters against BTH as well, which will be expected to see more play again once that priority ruling kicks in.

2x Laquari
2x Equeste
2x Darius
1x Murmillo
1x Retiari
1x Bestiari
1x Hoplomus
2x Spirit Reaper
1x Prisma
1x CyDra

3x GPG
3x Shrink
2x MST
1x Reborn
1x Dark Hole
1x BoM
2x Smashing Ground

2x War Chariot
1x Dust Tornado
1x Seven Tools
1x CED
1x D. Prison
1x TT
1x M. Force
1x Magic Drain
1x Royal Oppression
1x Trap Stun
1x Solemn Judgment
1x BTH

lol@traps -- I figure that a wider variety of traps allows me to have more answers to problems, rather than "oh, I wish I drew into one of my three Chariots that game." Roughly half of the traps are anti-monsters, and the others are anti-S/T. Who cares what I'm doing, I'm poor ( = no Warnings).

Why the hell couldn't Warning be common like it was in OCG. I would buy boxes if commons were regularly that good.

ah, epitomizes school

Eh, about this blog...

Big paper due this week, Maplestory Big Bang patch rekindling my interest in the game, college applications, and  a new ping-pong table are all reasons why lately there has almost been absolutely no Yugioh... the only times I've been playing have been with my one friend that uses Blackwing. I've been playing him with my generic zombie deck, and man is it hard to come back when Oppression is on the field, especially since I can't ever draw into my 2 MST and 1 DT mained (not to mention Cold Wave, Giant Trunade, Seven Tools, and Solemn Judgment).

BDao is my ign in GMS, Bellocan server. I don't know what else to say, other than that I won't be updating this blog until summertime. I have made a different blog to just talk about things in general, but... *shrugs*

I haven't written anything there yet, and I might never get around to it. whatevs

My turn, DRAW.

SET FLOATER, SET MST/DT, proceed to win

Senior year is pretty fun, but the application process that comes with it is not.

Turbo Pack 4?

*prays for Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo*

On another note, I really like the Lacooda-Royal-Tribute-Hero-Beat hybrid that I'm currently using. The only problem that arises is that sometimes late game I'll draw a dead Emergency Call, RoTA, or Gemini Spark with no available target. Hero Blast is probably a must, but I'm slightly afraid that it will conflict with Necrovalley. Eh, usually I'm only in a pinch when I don't have Necrovalley on the field, so I'll test Hero Blast when I get myself some copies of it.

I believe...

... that right now, Proving Ground is much more useful and aggressive than a Test Tiger play. Proving Ground gets Bestiari at any time to contact into Gyzarus, and Book of Moon aids that play more so than it would Test Tiger plays. Test Tiger just seems more prone to counters in my eyes... not to mention top-decking a Proving Ground is much, much better than top-decking a Test Tiger.
